Im not one to rant, especially on an internet forum. But today something happened which made my piss boil in a massive way.

Went up to my parents house with my Son (who is 2 in March). As it was a nice day I decided to walk him to the park next to their house and have a play on the swings and slides. On the way there he stands in a pile of dog st. As he's a baby he just carries on walking and gets in all over his socks and trousers as well as his trainers.

Why would you leave a pile of st where you know small children are playing. I just cant get my head round it?

We have a dog, and we always pick st up in a bag and put it in a bin. There are plenty of red bins on the park to put it in.

Im fukin livid!

This fks me off too.

Last year we took my son to the park, where there is a huge climbing frame in a wood chipped area. My lad (5 at the time) jumped down off part of the apparatus and put his hand right in a pile of st.

What kind of selfish lets their dog do that?

Thnking about the worst job in the world could emptying those red bins when brimmed on a nice hot summers day put it in top spot mmmm such a nice smell

Or a grunden waste bin full of butchers waste built up over a week alive with maggots is lifted up over the cab of the disposal truck all the liquid gushes over the cabs roof and windscreen the smell is epically rechworthy.

As for dogs poo round kids play ground... It's just wrong and very dangerous if a child accidentally fell in it hand in mouth it can cause blindness.

If I was in the middle of a forest it wouldnt have been as bad, but on a kids play area. My lad didnt even know he had stood in it and then cried when we had to go home. Just dont understand some peoples thought process?

I trod in some dog's mess the other day and made a note to miss it to-day...but there's another mess close by to it that's appearred in the last 24 hours.

I'm a dog walker and I clean up after my dog - and other regular dog walkers appear to have the same attitude.
I think it's likely to be because it's half-term and the children have been let out to walk the dogs and they are the ones that aren't cleaning up after the dogs.

Utterly disgusting, and it truly p*sses me off. I have a dog too, and always pick up after it. For some reason in the snow, people local to us seem to think it's an excuse not to bother. I saw a dog doing it just outside of the kid's play area in our local park the other day, so I called to the chap and he just waved and wandered on ignorantly. I got home and the wife confirmed that she'd seen him ignore his doing pooing a few days before - I'm now quite looking forward to bumping in to him some time soon.

I'm right with you, having 2 kids I have had the misfortune to get the dog mess just about everywhere. From being at work and sniffing the faint odour of poo, looking down and noticing it smeared all over your trousers to a full on daughter rolling in it!

I kid you not, whilst walking in a field my 3 year old daughter had fallen in a pile of excrement and was rubbing it in with her hands. Poo on the coat, poo on the jumper, poo on the trousers, poo on the hands, poo in the finger nails, poo on the boots!

How best to remove poo from the grooves in your shoe?

I tease it out with a little stick then blast with the hose, but beware the blast back!

And another thing, slipping in it. Disgrace, absolute disgrace.

We always pick up our dogs mess unless walking her on the forest. Even then we pick it up unless its off the footpaths. It is incredible how many people dont pick up dog mess though, some people allow their dogs to foul the local football field. DOnt they thing?

Oh and why pick up the mess and then hang the bag on a tree or fence? Surely once its in a bag you might as well bin it?

I have no children and three dogs but I F***NG hate dog owners who don't clear up after their dogs. It's a disgrace. They even leave it on footpaths where we all walk out dogs....

I think it's a reflection of the owner's personality if they're happy to leave dog crap all over a play park. I'm a dog owner and generally quite conscienscious (spelling?) ergo, I pick up my dog's mess - it's all part of having a dog and if you can't be bothered to do it, why own a dog?

I really can't understand the mentality of people that don't clear up their own pet's mess. It takes less than 30 seconds to bag it and lob it in the neighbours garden on the way home.

I always keep an eye out for it when we walk our dogs. This one guy was looking around while his dog did its business so I thought he had no intention of picking it up. I waited until he'd walked far enough away to be able to say he was going to pick it up and I shouted over to him. I asked him if he was going to pick up his dogs st and the cheeky tt didnt even have any poo bags!

These people shouldnt have dogs if they dont expect to clear up after them!
