Hi, i've just moved to St Albans and need to find a new dealer/independent to do the MOT and servicing for my Chimaera. Fernhurts have been looking after the car for me for the last couple of years but they are just too far away for me now. Does anyone have any local suggestions or recommendations please?
Thanks
David

Be sure to come to the Herts/Beds monthly TVRCC meets at the 3 Horseshoes on Harpenden Common! Second sunday of the month, lunchtime.

You'll always be welcome there And you don't really need to be a club member to come along.

Thanks everyone.
I've also been recommended an outfit in potters bar. Much appreciated.

May be a bit out of your way, but I have used Offord Motor Co, just north of St Neots. They give you a FREE courtesy car, well a Saab 9000 actually.

Sorry to resurect this thread, but I too need an MOT, and am based in St.Albans. I might also need a new windscreen (Autoglass reckon I will cos it's scratched and milky at the edges and has a small chip on the passenger side) so does anyone know whether Offords (or whoever else you folk suggest) will be able to manage the windscreen fitting at the same time if it fails on that?

The alternative of course is to get Autoglass (any other recommends??) to replace the screen anyway, and then get the MOT elsewhere at my leisure.

Tower View at the bottom of the M1 have done windscreens and use a TVR knowledgeable MOT station. Only 20 mins away.
