Hey all - I'm having a total wing mirror shocker , first I couldn't get it tightened (fixed) ,then the damn glass broke (got new one), now I discover someone must have araldited the old broken glass to the motor .. so wondered if anyone knows where I might get a motor or whether I should just get a new unit !!

cheers

I gave up on that one,the glass can be tweaked by hand ,i don`t even know why TVR bothered with Gizmos like electric mirrors..confused

The drivers side gave up while in storage over the winter period ,after severel attemps i found it was easy just to move it with two fingers !

(Lotusist speaking, please excuse any errors)

Doesn't the Chimaera use the Citroen mirrors ? If so, TVR Power, Lotusbits.com or cx-basis.de should alll have motors.

cx-basis definitely do the motors individually, and if you phone LotusBits they'll break one for you.

Weird - Mike & Dave usually have CX mirrors sitting on the shelf - unless they've finally run out of Excels & Esprits to break!

CX-basis have them in their shop : http://cx-basis.de/eshop/product_info.php?products... so should be able to help.
