Morning folks,

Looking to buy an E250/E350 CDI Coupe Sport in the next few weeks and have noticed several 2013 MY updates, including new steering wheel and updates DRL's at the front.

My question is - does anybody know if Mercedes plan to introduce the trapezoidal twin tailpipes (as seen on the E500 Coupe) on the E250/E350 CDI Coupes?

The reason I ask is that the E250 CDI Saloon/Estate has recently had this addition and I would hate to buy a new car just before this was added. It vastly improves the rear end IMO. A number of dealers and umpteen phonecalls to Mercedes have drawn a blank.

Many thanks

Dont think the 2013 will be out until at least July.

However its an easy mod to do yourself if you were so inclined. The trapezoidal pipes are just dummies which are screwed to the rear diffuser. Think they're about £100 odd from Mercedes to buy and you just need to cut the diffuser to shape and cut the old end pipes off.

Thanks for your reply Aeroresh.

Not sure I'd be happy cutting the diffuser on a new car - would rather order with the E500 part or retrofit this. I'll see what the costs would be. Noesn't look like too big a job thoughn (see link below) but was hoping MB would save me the hassle.
