Cadwell Sunday 19th Feb?

Is anybody here going to be at Cadwell this sunday?
Will be my first track-day, so any advice will be greatfuly received!

Might well be popping down for a little look as 3 mates are doing it, one in a Seat Cordoba, one in a 172 and one in a 20v Turbo Fiat Coupe. What are you running, will take camera if i go and will try and get some shots of you.

Ooh, that will be very nice to see, saw it in your profile but wasn't on the Javelin list when i checked earlier, but since been updated. Hope you have an enjoyable day, absolutely fabulous track. I have done one trackday there in the Skyline and been round a few times in the nav's seat on various tarmac rallies. Only advice i could give would be to tread carefully at first. The trackday i did was this time last year and with the cold conditions and the fact that the track doesn't get so much use through the winter it can be a little slippery early doors. Main place to watch is usually Barn corner which leads onto the start finish straight. I got on the gas a bit early on my second lap and it certainly woke me up. After that though, as tyres got warmed up and the track came in it was fine.

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely be taking it easy, especially early on. Got some instruction booked too which should be helpful. Hopefully it won't be pi**ing it down on the day.
So long as I keep it pointing the right way then I'll be happy!
