W58 Gearbox or T5 gearbox

Hi does any one know the size and teeth number of the toyota W58 gear boxinput shaft. Also the Borg warner T5 in told is a 1" with 23 teeth, is this correct.

which is the best gearbox to use. I have a T5 at the moment but have been told the w58 is better. I need the sizes as need to sort out a clutch for 7 1/4 button flywheel.
