8 month insurance policy?

Hi folks. I've had my second car SORNd over the winter months (God I miss it!) and I'm aiming to get it back on the road for the beginning of March. So, is it possible to get an 8 month policy so that it runs out for when I next SORN it, ie Oct 31st/Nov 1st?

I always have a 10 month Policy. Without doing some short term, expensive dayinsure kinda thing, i'd be suprised if you can get less than 10 months.

Take it out for a year then cancel it when you need to. You'll get money back pro-rata from most, if not all, insurers.
