Did they make (does anyone have) black surround white face gauges, from the early Chims?

I have gre faces and want white, so I ordered a set of gauges from one guy on eBay breaking a chim, I got them and the speedo was a cream colour, light magnolia maybe, but all others were white.
So I sent them back as obviously it looks weird having odd colours.
I then ordered just a speedo from another TVR breaker and it is also a creamy colour. Now have I dealt with two colour blind dealers or did they come like that? surely they didn't have odd colour gauges??

Thanks in advance

Both My Griff and Wife's Chim are cream coloured. Why not just get a cream one then have the "face" redone in white??

Cheers Dermot, only thing is i've heard that they're not as speedy as they advertise. And having no dials on a daily driver might be a bit of an issue !
