Insurance question (non TVR)

I've asked this on the Audi forum for a friend and surprisingly had no reply as this forum is generally very good re TVR insurance maybe someone here can help - said friend has bought a 2005 Audi S4 convertible (4+ Litre and Quattro ... its not a TVR but v nice and goes well) basically for summer and weekend use. He is looking to see if he can find a limited mileage policy (ideally but if not then a sensibly priced one for lowish miles) but no luck to date as too new and other quotes to date are quite steep. I've already gone over the usual TVR suspects with him to no avail but there is a chance that someone here might know of a likely place to try so any help/thoughts appreciated.

If he has other cars, it may be best to look at a multicar policy (no Admiral they cost a fortune). he could try Chaucer or Primo.

Admiral seemed pretty reasonable for my BMW and Polo (didn't put Sag on it but went through the quote with it just to see). Aviva are doing multicar too - try them direct.

For my 3 cars (2 drivers business use included) - Audi A6, Outback and Tusc (me with 3 points and 2 non fault accidents) approx quotes for multi car were

Chaucer £1400
Primo £1600
Admiral £2800

Jim, when you said you'd tried the "usual TVR suspects", did that include Henderson Taylor?

Hi Andy - long time no see! Yes friend did try HT and Matthew couldn't help as the car is too new.
