Does anyone go to the gym in these areas? Any good ones to recommend and rough price? I'm thinking of joining the one at Village hotel by the airport but wondered what else was out there.

Farnborough Leisure centre has good gym facilities, it all depends on what you want. If you're after the meat head look, then try Golds gym in Camberley. If its just a normal gym, then The Village at Farnborough, or the Leisure Centre opposite (Camberley also has the same Leisure centre gym)

I use the Farnborough Leisure centre.

Joined here on Friday, induction today. Ridiculously cheap, seems to have everything I need though. Just over £20 per months!

But did she pay for those three months notice? Or as Swerni asks, did she cancel the DD immediately?

I must admit, it does annoy me having to give three months notice but on the other hand as a business I guess I understand it. I personally would have cancelled my DD immediately upon giving them notice (as I would definitely forget to do so later!) but I would however have just paid up there and then and moved on.

If she gave notice correctly, paid for her notice period correctly AND was asked to/made to pay further, send a letter before action and then take them to court. They will soon capitulate if you're right.

I ended up joining at the Frimley Hall Mcdonald hotel. Small gym but got what I need. The Mrs can do all her treatment things and they even have a chill out blackout relaxation room. It's not cheap but only very little more than the Village.

But you do seem to be running a bit of a campaign, hijacking someone else's thread?

Personally I think telling your own story, biased as it may be (I said may ) is fine and can be taken in context. As mentioned above however you seem to have an agenda, and as Swerni says, a good bit of advice, move on.

Im a member at the Village.. mainly as the nice brunette on reception is my mrs and i get it all free. If anyone is thinking about joining and wants to try it out just let me know. I can get you a pass without having to talk to a salesperson who will try and make you join after
