Chavvy or Different?
Discussion
The problem with white is it shouts too much, i like white cars but white is everywhere now, it's certainly NOT different..........'m looking at a C63 AMG coupe and 90% are all white, it looks too blingy and just says "look at me", not a great thing on a car like this IMO, it;s why I went for Space Grey when I bought my E92 M3.
White is lighter than any other paint including solid of metallic. I see it as a lightweight motorsport derived shade as on the Mitsubishi RS models. centre console is a major no though as IMO there was nothing wrong with the OE leather item. Wouldst cost much to return it to original.
P.S 'Chavy' is a lifestyle choice, not an object or purchase. Too many people are concerned with other peoples perception these days IMO.

White accentuates the shape of any car, which means if the original shape was awful, it cannot hide the curves very well.
On the newer M3's it looks ok, but I do hate the current trend of white car, black wheels. Black wheels rarely look good on any vehicle imho.

Yes its an 'Edition' model exact same as mine. Everything on it is standard from factory. It was a £2,500 premium over a standard M3
Since BMW brought the 'Edition' out lots of people with alpine White cars copied the look with black wheels, kidney grills etc. Way to tell a genuine Edition is the White leather bit and White stitching.
There were 3 colours, alpine White, monte Carlo blue and Dakar yellow.

I looked at white M3's but decided against it as white always look dirty, I then end up buying a black one which is even harder to keep clean!!
I've got anthracite wheels on mine and don't think it looks to chavvy, I just wanted something that was a bit "stealth" (although I hate that term!)
That Alpine you linked to above OP has been on their stock for quite some time, long enough that you could go in with a lowish offer I would think.

Apparently it is an ex-BMW car. Not sure if that's good (looked after) or bad (been given a hard early life). I've got anthracite wheels on mine and don't think it looks to chavvy, I just wanted something that was a bit "stealth" (although I hate that term!)

Your black one looks rather delicious!

I had an ex-BMW E92 330i a few years back and it didn't bother me. I spoke to BMW Customer Service before purchasing and they told me it was a head office (Bracknell) company car and not a demo.
I've had a number of test drives in M cars from BMW dealers and they always warm the car up first and I don't think they'll be thrashed as you'll be lucky to actually find many roads you can thrash an M3 near a dealers (they're usually in a populated area). Personally I wouldn't be put of buying an ex-BMW owned car.

How can you get that so wrong?
