Right over the years I've heard several different versions including different versions from people in the same main dealers, so can we have a vote and tie this one up for good.

I like others hate chimp (griff I can live with) and assume it's often used by lazy people who don't know how it should be said and don't want to look a prat. trying.

Reading the squiggles it looks like:-

I vote for 'Kai-MEER-uh' too. Chimaera is a biological/genetic term meaning an organism which contains the genes from two disparate organisms; a sort of hybrid but not quite. For example, my mum had a tree which flowered in one colour on one side and a different colour on the other side. Both sets of genetic info were there, but they hadn't quite mixed...
The 3-headed dog is Cerberus, and you can guess which model of TVR he ended up as. (Funny to hear non-owners calling it a Sir-BEER-er ... )
