Battery - all good

As I said before I left my door open whilst I was on holiday over Christmas and drained the battery.
This weekend I was finally free and called in the AA and they jump started it - started first time (car had been left for almost 3 months). Left it on for about 10 mins and the beauty could start on it's own charge.
Took it for a spin for an 1hr and we are back to normal!
If only the same could be said about my other more normal car!
AWESOME! Even managed to get it back into the garage before it started to rain.

I cant belive you had to call the AA out for a jump start. I hope you dont need to use them too often. If you call them out five times over two consecutive years you will see your premium shoot up by a couple hundred pounds.

Well I have been with them two years already and this is only the third time I have had to call them out. When you say premium do you mean with the AA? As I get it free with my bank account.
So how does that work?

Indeed. Generally letting a battery run totally flat will decrease it's capacity by over 50%. To that end it will work fine after a day or so, but I wouldn't hold much hope of it now lasting a few weeks.J

Its worth giving your bank or the AA a call for sure.
