Yeah I've tried them, 0 results returned.

However, someone advised me that 'mainstream' insurers will not insure me.

If money really isn't an issue (I'm talking £5000+ easily) perhaps approach Chubb (no guarantees) or get hold of a decent broker willing to put in some serious leg work.

Beyond that : popcorn:

Broker is the way to go - the size of the premium will make it worth their while, but don't expect it to be less than £10k IMO.

Yeah I wouldn't mind paying £10k .. Least its a quote.

General question. Do you know how much brokers take from the insurance price?

Yeah, probably because you aren't old enough, or experienced enough to be let loose with that sort of car.

You would be, without doubt, an excessive danger to the public and other road users.

Keep building your NCB and your age up my luv.

Surely if money isn't an issue you can self-insure?

Totally unrelated, but is it still half term?

Try Henderson Taylor. They do insurance for celebrities so should be no stranger to this kind of thing. I use them for my Elise and just got a really good quote on another car.
