Can you identify this insect/bug?

An entomologist of my acquaintance said:
Magical Trevor has the correct ident – a carpet or museum beetle (Anthrenus species – probably verbasci ) – feed on dead animal remains as larvae (larvae = woolly bears) – dead animal remains can be just one dead fly, so most houses have them – they wreak havoc in insect collections destroying many a specimen.
Incidentally he's a very PH entomologist, if there's such a thing. He has a Fiesta ST and his OH has either 2 or 3 old Minis, I forget which.
