I noticed the other week that our local butchers had squirrel for sale, along with other things rabbit/hare etc..and didn't think much of it,
yesterday whilst getting acab to Ascot, and making small talk with cabbie as you I mentioned this and good old cabbie with his fountain of knowledge (better the google
) proceeds to tell me it tastes like chicken.... my response was that anything that isn't chicken, pig or cow seems to get tagged "tastes like chicken" .... question does it taste like chicken ??
and what to cook it with ??

and what to cook it with ?? Only the back legs and 'saddle' have enough meat on to be worth bothering with, imho.
Personally I'd slow-cook these, take the meat off, and put it in a pie.
