Many years ago I was told that Ford made a v8 sierra which was badged as an XR8 and was sold in the south african market.

I saw one in Caister which is what lead to the above claim.

I've always wanted to know if it was crap or not,anyone know?

Totally true, I had one in a few years ago, not alot of power for a V8 but was nicely put together

There's an owners club that turns up to Ford Fair every year. I was on a stand next to them back in 2008, lovely noise when they fired up.
