I have assembled my 4.6 engine that is now ready to drop in to the car.

All I need is a couple of days to complete but that's not going to happen for a couple of weeks, dam work and the lack of it frown.

No TVR work for me.

I've been ripping up the horrible peach carpet in the living room and replacing it with laminate...

Cue remarks such as "cor, I haven't seen a telly like that since the early 90s!"

Took mine for a drive, the sunshine was lovely today with the top down. . Wife wasn't impressed at the temperatures outside. I discovered her footwell vent was closed when we got home.

I was toasty warm!

Given my experience of visiting more then my share of homes, (no, I'm not a burglar smile) it seems to me that the generally people with the newest, widest TVs can least afford them, (cue credit card, finance etc) and the people with the old TVs either, don't watch much television or generally are well endowed in the £ department and can't be arsed to change, what catagory are you in?

No offence, a stab at humour if it came out wrong!

If we're getting into this "shoe box on t'motorway" lark;

I've had my batty 86 year old mum around all afternoon and I'm a large gin & tonic away from murdering her furious!

PS, As I'm typing this she's quietly moaning and complaining on the sofa, ffs!!!

.... cleared up the crap that was accumulating in the garage and put down the old lounge carpet temporarily so I can complete a little (read major) project on one of the other toys without having to lie on the cold concrete.
