Bit of good news on Friday, house renovations final Bill is substantially less than was budgeted for. So as wife got the house SHE wanted the money saved is now mine. Add that to a nice little savings account opened up after the sale of my beloved XJS a year ago, and its time to be a "man" once more. Having never owned any of above i have 14k to lavish on a garage queen! will cover 2-4k a year depending on whether. Only really wanting to spend 1.5-2k a year on servicing/consumables excluding petrol. Have i misses a obvious choice in another car.

Nice position to be in. smile

If it were me, this is what I'd go for. Bang on the money too and from a pretty good specialist from what I can gather. Sure to go up in value too. smile

Main issue with DB7's is the rust which is often in places you can't see hehe

No such thing as a cheap DB7, I'd go for a Cerbera.

The natural progression for me would be to get a supercharge XK8. But i want some thing different.

In that case do not get a DB7, IMO you will be disappointed.

+1

DB7 will eat your wallet alive, especially one at 14k.

Lovely dilemma to have! If it were my money I would find the Aston hard to resist, but that red 911 above does seem like a good choice smile

Lovely position to be in. Probably a 911 for me, but it would be difficult to turn down a cerbera. If your mileage is as low as that, I'd want a targa or a convertible for the nice sunny days though. Chimaera or a Griffith perhaps, otherwise a 911 targa.

The longer the funds sit here the more the wife wants it. 2 months in Australia in September is the latest one.

Rest your eyes on this for a while...

And tell me you couldn't love it ?

But if you are dead set on one of the three you mention, I'd pick the Cerbera but that red 911 vixen mentioned above is wonderful.

Tough choice. Enjoy the outcome. thumbup

Or go Lotus Elise, Caterham 7 route? The 1.5 - 2K you've budgeted a year for maintenance could go on track days?

DB7 has same undercarriage as de XJS, you might want something different now.
The 911 is quite boring compared to the Cebrera so I would choos Cebrera if I were in your position.

I would try to pick up a 964 coupe (C2 if you can find a reasonable one). Can't see these doing anything but going up in value...especially if you're not doing any miles in the thing!
