Projects! What have you done?
Discussion
Wondering who's had what project and what jobs they've done. What was expected/unexpected, what was new to them, etc.
I've been working on my project boat (Sealine 22 sports) for about 6 months now, she's close to being seaworthy and I'm dead proud!
I do mean this a generally car-slanted, just because my project's a boat, please don't move it
Jobs so far:
Replaced fuel filler pipes and vent pipes with ISO spec stuff (a real pig of a job as the pipes were installed then bits of the boat built round them).
Replaced all the gas lines and installed a test point.
Sorted out and replaced a s
tload of wiring.
Re-wired and refitted my radar arch.
Gone through the electrics of the engine.
Diagnosed why it won't run ("petrol" that looks like black tea)
Replaced extinguishers.
Gas locker latch needed doing.
Got stubborn outdrive cover off.
Replaced raw water pump.
Removed external heat exchanger (bloody frost!) brother's going to weld it up hopefully.
Swapped anodes.
Next up are to fix the shifter mechanism and replace the cables.
Then sort the reverse lock.
Bellows look in good condition so I'll do them next year, same with the antifouling.
Damn, doesn't look like much written down, but It's been really hard work sometimes, can see the light at the end of the tunnel now though.

Can't see pics... Any chance you could post a couple up?http://www.clubscuderia.com/forum/showthread.php?4...
Built a few cars from bare shells, rebuit to my spec ect, done maybe 20 full build/rebuilds over the years on cars, built my own 4 berth camper from an amby, built a speedboat from a bare hull using a mini as 70% of the controls and seating
I used to work in a breakers so there was allways a decent shell in the workshop built using parts off cars that came in, now i have a garage/workshop and at the mo i'm rebuing an MGBGT from a failed rebuild (totaly stripped then the builder died) for a customer as a "hospital" job IE work on it in quiet moments, i get a lot of hospital jobs

Wow that fezza build diary looks amazing!
Shame you have to have a log in to view the pictures.
I love the fact I had never considered that people would have ferrari project cars... Especially that they work on themselves.
Great stuff, I am in awe!!
Thanks! There are quite a few of us who work on our own ferrari's but they are mainly older cars. I was stupid enough to buy a 360 that needed work!!!Shame you have to have a log in to view the pictures.
