How many coats of paint ona Jaguar?

i recently watched a TV docc on the design and building of the Aston Martin DB7. Now I realise this is a very high end hand built car I was still impressed to learn that it receives 12 coats of duco . While my 2000 model XJ8 Jaguar has a beautiful sheen to the duco, I don't think for a moment it's got 12 coats.does anyone know how many coats of paint these cars do get ?
