Will be a great shame if no TVR engined speed six cars raced this year especially after the fantastic showing last year from the Winstanley/TVR Power Racing Sagaris.

Not me I'm afraid, don't have the silly budget required to run a competitive SP6. AJP8 power now.

That's a shame CJ, is the AJP8 really that much cheaper than a 4.5 Speed Six Supersport?

That's all a thing of the past lads. I've cut down from 50 to only 5 pies per week, my body is now a temple smile . I've also signed up for an 18 week ballroom and Latin dancing course yikes and the push bike is being repaired. Dot is even sewing the carbon fibre sequins on my race suit. Come June I'll be a shadow of my former self, I'll be so fast I'll be making my own weather behind me so you lot better bring your wets to Brands Hatch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Massively so, a decent base 4.5 engine, simple induction mods, nice exhaust and an ECU (which I already have)and it's an easy 400-430bhp motor. I reckon in the car approx 5K. Cost of fitting and removing bksed SP6 engines has cost a lot more than that in labour alone, although in the end we could get an engine out of the car and back in again in about 4-5 hours. None of the bolts had enough time to rust or sieze and we could do it in the dark!!!
