Surprised I haven't seen this posted yet. Doesn't need any more explanation that the title I don't think. Does anyone know if there was anything in the papers or any conclusion to it?

So you are witness to someone driving the wrong way down a duel carriageway.

Option 1 - call emergency services, try to help avert accidents.

Option 2 - record for later posting to YouTube.

clearly these blokes made the only logical choice...

Not only is he driving the wrong way down a 2 lane carriage way he cant even use the excuse he thought it was a single lane as he would be on the wrong side of the road.

People like this should have their licene removed indefinately.

They are a danger to themselves and others. I cannot think of 1 reason for a judge to ever let him keep his licence.

This happened on the A47 - Car with 4 young people coming against the traffic. Luckily the left lane had a space I could squeeze into.

Police were aware and following them on the other side of the carriageway at this point.

I posted this in the Youtube thread the other day, the guy is clearly fully aware of what he is doing, towards the end of the vid he switches to the outside lane of the carridgeway and speeds up and away into the distance.

fktard of the highest and should be shot on sight.

Loving the commentary!

Mental stuff. And the sort of muppetry that wipes out families.

Similar case with an old doddery bloke up here last year. Crashed into some woman head on and killed her.

Was a big hoo-ha from folk who knew the bloke actually defending him because he was old! "Not his fault, have some respect". Unbelievable.

Did that ever get into the news?

I reckon this stuff happens a lot more often than is reported by our beloved press.

Sound is NSFW!!!

At last, correct use of "duel carriageway..."

Amazing evasive driving by everyone getting out of the way of this feckwit.

Pretty sure it's the A726.

It's definitely not the B767 on the outskirts of Glasgow which is single carriageway. And crosses the A726 which does look correct smile

Frightening, and one of those reasons to always be alert on the roads incase you have someone like this coming towards you!

Last time something like this happened round here and was reported in the papers it was an old bloke in a Jaguar (possibly an X type or an XJ) driving the wrong way up the A1, hit a car and killed a woman and child inside it.

I'm sure it's more than luck that has stopped me ending up doing this; it appears to be comparatively hard to end up in this situation.
