50,000 miles.....

Well I would have clocked up 50k in my '99 4.0, if the odometer hadn't stuck at 49,999.

Speedo still works but the trip amd odometer not moving at all.
It appears as though the "4" is stuck and holding all the other dials up

Quick fix, or new clock?
Any suggestions gratefully received

This is a common problem. If you search the forum for '000' I'm sure you will come up with few threads on this and there is even something on the FAQs

I had similar problem a few months ago, and somwhere here I found a tip to drive at 50mph (iirc) and tap the speedo. It worked for me, so try it out.
