Are better deals to be had before the end of the Month or is it a busy time for new car sales?

Are there normally more nearly new / used cars around after the new reg reducing prices in March?

What car, from where, for how much????

Dealers often have targets to meet at month and 1/4 end. So sometimes it's in their interest to sell another car, even at a lower price to make a target. But you really need to know that this is the case in order to exploit it, so an insider so you know that they need to sell another car is what you'd need.

Individual salesmen may also have targets, but they aren't going to lose money on sale by selling cheaper than they should and nor will a dealer want to lose margin if they still think they can sell the car elsewhere.

Used cars are unlikely to be tied to targets set my the manufacturers and non main dealers will just want to turn the money over on a used car, but month end is unlikely to affect much unless they are a plc and trying to boost figures and financial reports.
