I need a set of rear Vredestein Ultracs for the M5, where do people source theirs from?

Got mine for the M3 from camskill,dont know about M5 sizes,usually pretty cheap though.

Mytyres are cheaper than Camskill for Vreds.

Have a look around but I've found the following to be the cheapest (varies between them) for any tyres-

Mytyres
Lovetyres

Ended up going with Clickontyres- great customer service and they price matched Camskill.

I'm going to be in a similar situation soon, but I haven't found anyone that stocks the correct size for an E60. Are you running a different size?

How do you find the Vreds? Had them before?

I'm currently running Eagle F1s and I'm thinking of changing to Conti when they wear out.

Found them really good, car rides very well with them on, nice and progressive when the rear loses grip.

Everytime I need tyres at least half a dozen local tyre fitters undercut ALL the online sellers. I think many people now automatically buy online because they've been conditioned that it's the cheapest option, just like all the people queuing at Tesco for petrol.

Perhaps I use the wrong tyre fitters or live in the wrong part of the country, but I've never managed to get a better price this way (and I've tried).

In fact the last guy refused to quote for Vreds and swore blind that I was making a huge mistake by fitting them to the Funf - I had to basically twist his arm to do the job.

My local Tesco mega store's petrol is no cheaper than several near-by forecourts. They were cheaper once, then everyone gets into a pattern of automatically gong there without noticing that it's no longer any cheaper than other stations, well that's the only reason I can think of why so many people still wait for 10 minutes when they can drive straight in and fill up for the same price a couple of miles up the road???

Rich and plenty. Which tyres did you both have before these? F1s?

PS2s on the front and Pirelli P6 All Seasons on the rear.

On the front, Vred Sessantas are at least as good as worn PS2s, and a million times better than the P6s although I do miss the hilarious amount of easy low-speed oversteer that is available with comedy rear tyres.

The MX5 had nearly worn Avon ZZ3 (I think) on all 4 corners when I bought it.

Great dry grip but in the wet it would let go with a touch of power in 2nd on a roundabout, had to go round on no throttle.

I'm liking the sound of these Vreds more and more.
