Tyre softener - Does it work?

Anybody tried it or have any experience of it?

is is good for killing a set of tyres !

if you want to throw them away afterwards then its ok - soaking them in bleach does the same trick

usually done when you can't run slicks and need a softer compound

+1 good for drag strips but don't expect to have anything left after a days outing.
