Appologies if this is a repost, but this guy is a headcase...the commentary is priceless though.

Looks more like the A726 to me, East Kilbride to Newton Mearns. Can't work out how you could even get on to the wrong carriage way.

Thanksfully it looks as though there wasn't an accident

That is pretty scary.
What is going on the a persons head when they do something like that?
Must have passed a dozen other vehicles at least.

It was posted up on the youtube thread the other day.

Still think that the first thing I'd be doing is phoning the police, not videoing the fking thing.

Appears to have got away with it - there's been nothing in the news about a head on crash / car driving up the DC the wrong way.

I once witnessed an elderly gentleman driving the wrong way round a roundabout, but the nutter on that video appears to be doing it on purpose!

How do you know they hadn't already contacted the police?

doubt it, he had plenty of opportunities to go into a car head on

Very scary, this does look like the A726 as others have said, you can see the sign for Newton Mearns in the video. Looks like they have gone onto the wrong side of the road possibly at the roundabout at waterfoot/eaglesham heading toward the M77. No idea how you would manage that though!

Lucky noone was hurt and hopefully they find whoever was responsible

If you were on the wrong side you wouldn't be going 80mph though, the guy has clearly got a screw loose.

You have to admit that the commentary is hilarious though.

Maybe the guy was on drugs or something....

I would lock him up for life.

Not funny at all, if this was done as a joke or on purpose when they find him he should be locked up for a long time, don't think anyone would find it funny if they or their wife and kids we're driving towards him mad

Holy st!! yikes

That defines insanity, you really do wonder if he was high / "trying for a suicide" / drunk / or a mixture of all 3.

I love the commentary, thankfully some of us don't actually speak like that hehe

Don't think he was "trying for a suicide" or he'd have just driven into someone, likely drunk or stolen or combination of both!

Sorry tvrman I like to poke fun at comedy elocution! Of course it wouldn't be funny if Your wife was driving towards him smile
