My Car History!!!

Hi everone, i have been registered on here for a while but never posted anything. I love reading other members car history threads and due to being layed up with man flu i thought i would keep myself busy. I have to say at this point i am car buying adict and never usually keep a car longer than a couple of months!
This is my first car, a 1.1 fiesta mk3. I was 17 and bought the wee jem for £200 with a years tax and test. That car saw some serious abuse in the way of being rallied through my local forest walks most weekends,and generally thrashed everywhere.
Then along came the Nova 1.2. This was chaved up to the max as most 17 year old cars are. Good car though had alot of fun in this. Bought for £400 and was pretty mint before i ruined it.
Moved on to a civic 1.5 lsi. Fantastic car, felt quick at the time and handled great. Bought for £900
Then bought this on ebay. Xr2i, great little car but always wanted a rs turbo so it was sold. Bought for £400
At the time i had a 106 xsi project which i fitted bike carbs too.
And a Microcar that i had, never touched then sold
I now needed a diesel for work so after much searching i settled for a 306 dturbo, Bought for £2000 and probably spent a grand fixing the the bloody thing in the few months i owned it
Somehow i thought buying another 306 dturbo,but older was a good idea. Bought for £400 and spent most of my time fixing it.
My friend had bought a 350bhp evo4 at this time and gave me go in it, after this fast cars is all i thought about. The search was on for a 4 wheel drive turbo car. While searching ebay one night this popped up, Starting bid £1300, had recepts for roughly £3500 for new wheels, gearbox, clutch, exhaust, headgasket and figure 8's. I was the only bidder
Picked her up the next day, i couldnt belive what i had got for £1300, felt stupidly quick at the time (18)
This was our driveway at the time, a few bhp's between them all
I sold this due to moving down to England from Scotland as i needed funds. Bought a little 1.6 megane, then a 318is. Sorry dont have any photos of theese.
Right, now that i was settled in down south i went in search for something a bit quick again.
Along came the nissan 200sx s14. Bought for stupidly cheap (£800) with no mot or tax. One lower ball joint later in had a years ticket. It had a few mods done by the previous owner. At the time my brother had a dyno proven 370bhp evo 6 and the nissan would inch away from it in a straight line! Never really knew what had been done to it apart from the front mount, boost controller, dump valve etc but it was seriously quick,it did a gps proven 157 mph at millbrook proving grounds!! I always said i would keep this in the garage for life as it would be a grear car for the odd track day etc. I did alot of work to this, fully polybushed, hks coilovers, welded sills, underneath cleaned and painted like new. But sadly another car came up for sale locally that i wanted and it was sold
I then bought a 1999 impreza turbo 2000 for £2300. It was in showroom condition, and had just been fitted with a new gearbox, clutch, whiteline arb's and coilovers. I was quite dissapointed with this car, very reliable but it wasnt that quick althought it handled great. I never really liked the power delivery and comapared to the 200sx it was dull.
Then came an rx8. I worked as a service advisor for Mazda at the time, the car came in as a non runner. Due to the shocking incompetance of our mechanics it was diagnosed as a complete engine failure. I bought it off the owner for the tidy sum of £650 as he was rich and hated the car that much that he wanted to burn it! I bought it with the aim of fitting a new engine. A set of coils and plugs later and it was running as good as new!!!! Great b road car.
Sold the rx8 due to fuel consomption and bought a mint condition mk golf gti 8v for £600
Still had the golf and bought a 306 gti6 for a track car. Which i never ended up putting on a track and was used as a daily driver.
Golf and 306 were sold.I then fancied a bit of off roading which brought me to this old girl. Bought for £550
I then went back to working on building site so needed a diesel again. So i bought a bora tdi 130. I could never get comfy in this car due to being a lanky steak of p**s. It was sold a few weeks later.
I bought a golf gt tdi 130 instead which was loads better to sit in. I had it remaped to 175bhp and returned 55mpg all day long Sold this to my brother. Bought for £3000
Then bought another one. Cost £1300
Sold that as i needed an estate. Welcome 406 hdi. Bought for £900
The imob failed on the 406 and i needed a car fast! A mg zr 105 was bought for £650
I have just sold the Mg. Which leads to my current car, a 2007 focus tdci estate as i need the space and economy for work and its quite nice to drive. I am always on the look out for a cheap 200sx as i still regret selling that car
Im 24 now and miss all the wheeling and dealing, but now i feel i should focus my money on a house, family etc, but hopefully one day that 200sx will pop up.
I hope i havent bored you too much with my rambling, im off to collect some sympothy from the mrs. As i keep telling her this man flu i have would kill a woman, haha!!

Thankyou the majority of them were bought on ebay, back when you could pick up a bargain. Now it seems everyone want top money. Good work that man!

Haha, i certainly did. I sold it for £4200. A polish lad turned up and loaded it into the back of a lorry! I can remember the ramps he used bending and him asking me if i had a forklift so i could lift it on the side for himYou must have made a tidy profit from the RX8?

The gt four has to be the best handling car i have ever driven. Nothing ever went wrong with it and i used to get 340 miles to £60 of petrol! But i suppose petrol was only 90p a litre then!and at £1300 for the Celica, fair play!

I was in one day dropping something of when the car was for sale too,i mind talking to you when i had a look at it.
Sure that place is shut now and there's a diagnostic guy in there
Jesus, I have owned 7 cars in just over 5 years and my family and friends think I swap about too frequently! Your car history is truly massive in comparison!
Love the 200SX. Surprised you never liked the Scooby - you only ever tend to hear good things about their performance. I've always thought that if fuel were still just over a quid I would run an Impreza for the speed and practicality...

I was up in inverness last week for a couple of days visiting my mum and was shocked with how much inverness has changed!

I dont know what it was with the scooby, i just never took to it. For the performance i thought the fuel economy was shocking and i was always called a chav for driving it.
The Nissan was absaloutely amazing to drive, you could scare yourself senceless in it with the power especially on wet roads. I had a few heart in mouth moments with it, but i think that was part of the attraction.
