From a new member/owner of a DB9 Volante (II)

As a new owner of a DB9 Volante MY 2007, a few days ago I joined PH where I could find very interesting topics and hepful replies (see Fuse 22, ecc.)
So, while being very happy about my "new" car (after 23 years of Porsche), I would like to profit of this opportunity to ask the "Aston Martin community" a few questions:
1. what is the right place for the Owner Manual, if any? (apparently, it doesn't fit into the glove box!!!)
2. according to some members, the navigation maps 2011 (Volvo RTI - 2011.1 - Europe (MMM/P2001) - Disk 1 2 & 3 (Volvo Part Number: 31310191) are apparently working also on DB9 (MY 2006-2007): can anybody confirm?
3. the ramp of my garage being quite steep, the front bumper "touches" the floor, for 30/40 cm., on a 20/30 cm width, in spite of my thorough calculations when adjusting the slope of the ramp (and winter tyres, lower by 8mm., do not help!). Is there any way to raise the front bumper by 1,5-2,0 centimeters, maybe by a trig/wedge in the front suspensions?

The handbook does fit in the glovebox. Just it needs to be at ~45 degree angle - not flat.
Volvo Sat Nav discs do work in Astons as its a Volvvo system! Not sure on your part code though as not upgraded mine. If it works can I have a copy of them
Can't think of a way of raising the front valance / bumper - sorry.

post pictures of your car!!I keep my manual behind the passenger's seat so that it doesn't get locked in the glovebox when the battery drains. This means there's room for an iPod and err, a pair of gloves! No-one will ever sit in the back after all...
As to raising the height, mine has just been raised slightly as it was too low for London on its performance springs. A spacer was made up and used under the spring to bring it up a few mm. Not a hard job for a garage but tough for you to do on your own!

Can definately confirm manual does fit in the glove box, at an angle as already suggested.
Also can confirm that Volvo maps for 2011 do work on the DB9, I have upgraded mine this way.
Finally, whilst not perhaps ideal, as my front spoiler dragged a little getting into garage, I made it LOWER!! No joke, you can get a high resistance, low drag coefficient rubbing strip on ebay for the DB9, it fits through the existing bolt holes, and whilst briefly not a pleasant sound, does stop you scraping your nice shiny front end..... It's very subtle and you wouldn't notice it's there unless you looked... Also protects you when out and about...

Good idea,
but a bit inconvenient when using the car to go to work every morning (minus 10° Celsius sometimes!), while hard manoeuvring the avoid your wife's car, confortably parked in front of the door.
The suggestion of gheimann0, on the contrary . . . : the "unpleasant" noise may be compensated withdrawing the "famous" Fuse 22 . . . ..
. I'm study about and i'll let everybody knows the relevant results.

The Volvo CD's (three) are almost 8GB each: I have them as .iso so the relevant transfer should be arranged, maybe one by one through .hotmail or by Skype: let me know.
With occasion, another question: does the audio system plays MP3?
