You're thinking of Sprint Blue, but the car's advertised as Jazz Blue, which is a VW colour - looks solid until you see it really close and preferably in bright sunlight and you can then just about see the metallic effect.
The original RS2 colour was known as Nogaro Blue, it's solid unlike Sprint Blue which is metallic and much more recent. Edited by Blue62 on Thursday 23 February 11:16

Is all that stuff about it being a Special factory order with genuine Porsche GT2 alloys etc correct?
Out of interest, did he discover how much that originally cost?
I believe it was a special order, don't know about the costings side of things though.Out of interest, did he discover how much that originally cost?
Its previous owner has an encyclopaedic knowledge of most things 911 and has visited the archives at the factory etc.

As said, that colour was originally called RS Blue on the RS2, but then renamed Nagaro Blue on later Audis. VW Jazz Blue is exactly the same colour, and Seat and Skoda also use the same colour but I don't know what names they give it?
Really? I don't remember it being called RS blue at all, my business partner at the time took delivery of an RS2 not long after launch and he referred to it as Nogaro. He had it for about 4 months before it was stolen, painted white and used in a couple of robberies before being written off. Pretty sure, unless the period mag feature I had got the detail wrong?
A bit more research reveals that I was right, although it seems to be a bit of a grey area!
