Handbrake adjuster knob

I can't find it! I've read the bible and groped (oh err) where I think it should be but can find it! Anybody got a photo by any chance?

My handbrake doesnt bite till the final click and with the MoT on saturday i thought it best to investigate.

Car is a 1994 400.

Here you go, small white plastic knob 6 inch or so in from the top of the left side spring.[as you look at the pic]

Cant seem to get it to adjust up everthings free but it wont bit till the final click on the lever.....annoying.
