Soooo, after owning the Camaro for a while, and finding absolutely no joy in it, I decided the best thing to do was get rid of it and move on. I spotted this advertised on our local car forums and while it wasn't registered, and it was a little beat up, I decided I could probably get on with it better than I did the camaro, so on a soggy rainy day in December I took the camaro down to Winchester and traded it for my all new 2000 dodge dakota.
It's the 3.9 V6 variety, so once again I am V8less, but I'll rememdy that some time later in the year.
So far it's had a light conversion done to uk spec for MOT (£400)
The steering UJ replaced (£50)
and is about to go in for paint and bodywork in March (£2000)
I'm getting it resprayed purple, with a black roof and bonnet, also all the chrome is being redone as the bumpers look a bit st right now.
So enough talk, here's some pictures taken this morning showing the current condition:

it is ok, it's a bit better than the 17.2 I got out the Camaro, but worse than the 40 I get from the daily snotter, I haven't worked it out yet, but I roccon mid 20s.

Well the truck went in for paint like that, and came back looking like:

Yep, traded it once again. That's the 5th car since September 2011...hopefully this being a mustang it'll stick around (I tend to stick with the mustangs a lot better)
