Can anyone suggest a decent MOT place near Skipton/Ilkley/Harrogate that is used to working on classics?

The DS needs its ticket and there are quite a few peculiarities about them that needs someone who understands older cars.

Cheers,

Ben

Hi Stephen.

You sound just the ticket! I've just got to get a new ignition barrel fitted and I'll come over - it will be good to give the car a decent run anyway.

I'll drop you an email once ready. Probably some point next week.

Cheers,

Ben

Benji - I trust you are going to bring the DS out to play now we might get a bit on sunshine soon? I really would like to have a look round it!

Simon.

Just to add an endorsement for Greenway - I'd like to stress that I have no connection with them other than being a satisfied customer!

2 visits for the MOT on the Morris so far, and I'll be going there again this year.

Cheers,
Tom

No problem Ben, and when u are ready. look forward to seeing your car we're all petrolheads at work so interesting cars are always welcome. we have a RR shadow coming in this week and a Silver Cloud 111 in a month but i think the most fun we have had in the workshop was with a Austin 7 of 1931 vintage that had not gone for years and we all stayed late on a freezing winters night just before Xmas to get it going , and when it fired up it made life in the garage worthwhile. Hope we have some interesting stuff in when u visit. stephen

I had a particularly enjoyable few hours with Stephen at Greenway Garages today. He's a top chap and I know he is just what I've been looking for for years - someone who loves his metal, whether classics or new, and is able to rise to a challenge (essential with a DS smile)

The workshop and showroom is really something special. I'll be recommending them to everyone I know.

Great to meet you Ben and to meet someone who really uses their classic car including those road rallys on the continent ( thinks to self, must get out in my cars more!) and what a wonderful DS. Thank you for your comment. stephen
