Fukarkin XBox Live

Trying to join up, so I can indulge in a bit of shooty-facey action with some mates on MW3.

I've been at it for three hours - three fking hours. Bloody Microsoft.

It asked me for an email address, so I gave it my work one.

It asked me for credit card details so I sat there entering every fking digit with the joypad.

It gives me an error code... I look it up online and there's about a million different things it can be.

I eventually guess that it's because I didn't use a 'Live.com' address, so I sign up for one. Spend half an hour getting my security code rejected because the graphic they want me to copy is about four pixels wide.

Eventually get one set up, and try to change it over on xbox live, only to be told that I can't change it for 30 days.

This is such a load of fking aggro. Am I missing anything obvious and is there any way to change that address? Or do I even need to?

I don't think the email address is a problem, when I first signed up (over 5 years ago now mind) it was with a BT email address.

Just set up another gamertag with the Live.ocm address and all should be done and dusted

but even I set up Xbox live in under 5 mins

I resorted to calling technical support... there was a problem with their billing system.

I'm not a doofus. Yay
