I am booked to participate in the TVR track at Classic Le Mans this year and I'm thinking how fab it would be to have a photo or two of a gaggle of Cerberas roaring up the pit straight!

As far as I can imagine, it will just be a case of peeling out onto the track together (so staying in a group as we transfer from the Bugatti Circuit to the 'holding' area by the track).

It will make a stunning shot!

Anyone else up for it?

Brilliant smile

I have been texted by a PH 'lurker' who wants to be included and is now added. There are three more Cerberas in my group - from Germany - so I expect they will be along shortly to add their names. Not to mention Gruffalo!

Thinking video, one facing forwards and another backwards. Would also like something that can capture the noise properly, which is probably the most fiddly bit.

I'm in too.

I'll also have 2 HD cameras on my car, one front, one rear so should get some good footage.

Gaggle forming. Photographers being booked (I wonder how many different perspectives we can get? smile ) And bullet cams in place!

Marvellous!

I will borrow a bullet cam as well. Forwards facing so everyone can take the **ss out of my version of the racing line. Advantage is that from my likely position, I should be able to get everybody else in shot! rolleyes

Well, anywhere would be great - but my original thought was of Cerberas roaring up the pit straight ...... lots of other great photo opportunities between there and Tetre Rouge - would you agree?

How fast can you run? tongue out

The pit straight is great for a panning shot of 1 car but it'd more difficult to get a "head on" shot of a group of cars. I think Dunlop would be better where the cars would naturally be bunched up anyway.

I'll have my bullet cam on Nicky so if you let me out first I can record you all blasting passed me on the Mulsanne which I know you will cos my little old V6 is no match for you & your cerb mates, especially given the speeds Gruffalo achieved in 2010 wink I did make it round the chicane with a bit more gracefully than he managed though hehe

wavey Hmmmm, you're probably right Longers. It could well be difficult to get a good angle from a public viewing spot. Might need to explore the possibilities for the pit wall .... not sure what the chances of that are, but food for thought tongue out.

Bullet cam? woohoo great idea! Thank you! That would be marvellous! (Although I might struggle to get past you - but maybe you could ease off a bit if you see me coming? smile ).
