timing & fueling for LS7
Discussion
Does anybody have any of this kind of info extracted from a GM ecu of from any other ecu running an LS7 engine. I am thinking having a hybrid LS7 /sbc built i.e. 427 cu in block with LS7 heads. It does not run the same sensors etc as an LS so I hope to use my current ecu and I am basically looking for a place to start.
Ill guess one of those World Products hybrid offerings Boost...
If that is the route Mark.. be certain to follow their fastener method exactly... two builds Im aware of have had issues with threads and minor machining...the thread problems were blamed on stock fasteners being used where longer should have.... hence no rectification support from the maufacturer (claimed un-noted by the builders).
It'll be a slightly different approach and something interesting to follow too.

Correct 738
I am keen to know more detail about the problems. I have been scanning the net looking for any bad stuff about these but as yet cannot find anything.
It would be @£3k cheaper than a LS7 conversion for me as I already have injected SBC. However there is a LS engine available to me at 3k under list and is basically new.
So suffering a dilemma at the moment.

Ill dig out some links to the world builds..
Would seriously consider getting hold of a full LS motor if its an option though.... An LS2 with only a relatively mild cam and a few little tweeks will give you an honest 500+ and makes a real nice all-round power package.. D Hodge might testify if hes lurking.
