can you recommend a good rolling road in Yorkshire?
Discussion
Second them. I'm there on Wednesday for a map...
Check their website as a 4wd RR is slightly more than 2wd. IIRC around 70+ vat
It's Dynodynamics too, and VERY tight. In other words the figure you get will be about as acurate as you could hope for.
I had an old Megane mapped there. It made on the rollers just shy of manufacturers claimed power, 221hp IIRC and it should of being 225. It made 262hp mapped. I took it to a different rolling road that showed it at 275. Which is clearly wrong.

Think Sheik McSporran would be more appropriate
Finished in the land of the Sheiks, over in Gabon now. Better weather and I can have a drink after work. How's yourself anyway? If you're down at the rolling road anytime soon let me know and I'll swing by for a look at your new motor and a catch up.jock mcsporran said:

I'm ok at the moment thanks Andy. I'll probably be booking the rolling road once I get my custom map back from GTC Racing
Even the standard stage 2 map from them is bonkers fast though.Tony.
P.S. Hope Paula and Bambino are ok.
P.P.S Re Gabon, any country who's President is called Bongo can't be bad!

The Racing line in Halifax, They have GTR tuning packages so know what they are up to. Matts one of the best mappers around

I used AET's hub dyno in Normanton which seemed like the obvious choice for me since they built my turbochargers. A decent bunch of guys with plenty of experience and only too happy to answer any queries...apparently dyno claims to be fairly accurate too!

O.P.
Having just taken my VXR8 to RS Tuning today for a go on the rolling road I can say I do recommend them. The estimated flywheel BHP figure they gave me was 443BHP whereas the manufacture says it's circa 430BHP measured at the fly. Not far out I would say given that they are estimating the flywheel power based on the output at the driven wheels.
