Battery?

Alright I know this subject has been done to death, but 'search' is down.

Can anyone please recommend a brand of 072 that fits? Do the Halfrauds one fit?

I just found that my 18-month old Optima Red Top has died. That was worth the money, then.

Cant recall the sizes - last time I posted the responses I got werent quite accurate I think..
Anyway - if you go 072 you need recessed lugs and the positive on the front left?

the ebay 'TVR' specific batteries dont look like they will fit too me.

T represents the recessed lugs.

The terminals? So the overall height has to include the terminals I guess.

I bought an 072 sized exxide battery from eurocarparts a year ago.. around £70 and came with a 3year warranty.. can't remember the specs but had decent a decent AH and CCA rating.. Can't go wrong with the warranty either..

as above, eurocarparts make sure its the exide one, as the lion one they will try and sell you ( as they have something going with them ) doesnt fit as terminals arnt recessed, halfords dont make one that fits anymore

Yes but i flipped the battery round 180 degree's from standard and ran the wiring so i could fit my discarnect on the negative terminal, And so i could have it under the scuttle access panel hole.
