I'm trying to find a cylindrical stainless steel oil catch can with AN/JIC fittings but can't seem to find one; they all seem to use push fittings (which is fine, but I prefer the aesthetics of AN lines!)

Is modifying a catch can with weld-on bungs the way to go?

Yes, modifying it is the way to go. Webster Race engineering in Rushden 01933 315236 or Owen Developments in Oxford on 01865 821062 are the people i would recommend. If you have someone in mind then you can get weld bungs from various sources. Cam Auto developments are my preferred source..
