2013 Mustang Advert

Just saw the advert for the new Mustang,

I wonder if it is a coincidence that it seems to be quite 'KITT' like in it's colour changing. I know it probably isn't but wouldn't it be nice if this would a subtle nod to a second series of Knight Rider.
Looking forward to this incarnation, prefer it to the 2010.

Knight Rider has been canned. No point in ressurecting it as it uses the old model and Ford have a new one coming in 2015.
