Help ! My speedo and Trip Computer have just stopped working today. I'm thinking faulty sensor as both not working. Anybody got any experience of this problem and do you agree with my thinking, if so do you know if it is difficult to change the sensor.

I take it you have a mk4? ,Vw electrics don't age well.
If you know anyone with a Vagcom ,or find a garage who runs it ,this will give you all the
gen.

Thanks for reply, yes it is a Mk4. I take it a Vagcom is a diagnostic system.

Yes,It will be cheaper if you know a mate with one as the stealers tend to be expencive.

You can download vagcom lite for free from their website. not as extensive as the full version , but still a very useful tool with loads of information. All you need then is the obd2 lead to connect laptop to car, ebay for less than a tenner.
