Bose 5.1 speakers and cable
Discussion
I am going to put some Bose speakers in the kids tv room. I want it all outta sight etc.. Whilst I am not a big fab of Bose they are small and will be ok for kids DVDs. I have had some speaker cables laid and hidden etc in advance of deciding on Bose. Does anyone know if the Bose speakers can be wired with standerd speaker cable?
I hope you realise that the cable flow is from the cubes through the bass unit (all 5 feeds) and then
from the Bass unit using the supplied Bose flat multicore cable to the Amp
when I was in the A/V industry it was surprising how many people prewired
a room for bose in the conventional way. ie from each speaker location to the amp location, which
wont work.

Thanks didnt realise that, hence my question :-)
Tbh I am not sure I want Bose as I think they sound pants when 2.1 etc but think / hope they'll be fine for a 5.1
If they are wired via the sub then that might not suit as I want to set up the speakers via the amp. So maybe I'll look at another make... Hmmmm
