About to buy some toll boxes. Wheeled trolley type .
Had a look at machine mart and Halfords offerings, does anyone have advice.
I am going to buy two sets so I want to get a good deal.
Any experience please ?

Home garage use only not trade.

Thanks
David

I bought a large wheeled one from Machine Mart and it's been ace. It lives under the stairs at the moment, and has been strong enough on the wheels to get dragged up and out over a step a couple of times. I think I paid £80 for it, 2 large drawers at the bottom, 4 smaller/thinner ones up top, with a rubber mat on the top incase you wanted to stack anything else on it

B&Q were doing some deals on various styles not too long ago. Might be worthwhile trying them too.

Very good for the money (as good as the top of the range machine mart boxes) yes a Snap On box is a little better . . . .but they do cost 10 times as muchhehe

Make sure whatever you get has ball bearing drawer runners. The Halfords Pro range is excellent if you keep an eye out for the deals they do from time to time (e.g. I got a 5 drawer base with a free 5 drawer top box).

I've seen plenty of tools 'stored' in Citroen Picassos...

Thanks for the feedback, looks like the dreaded Halfords today.
£239 less £50 today for the 7 draw base unit I want, Halfruds professional range ?
