X type won't start

My diesel 2.0 diesel x type won't start?? Heater plug light is flashing when it's trying to start?

Hope you have by now sorted the problem if not let me tell you about the issue I had my 2005 Jag x type 2.0 d it kept cutting out after appx 10-15 mins from cold. The coil light on the dash would flash. Leave for appx 10 mins and the car would start, A colleague on the forum said to try changing the cam sensor this I did. I swapped for the Ford Mondeo sensor after all the engine is the same and the sensor cheaper £23. and a 10 min job. it fixed mine. might be worth a try

Yes mate got it going, guess what it was lol. Only thing is we bought it from jaguar!! Aw well just glad it's going.
