Griff 500 brakes on 400 Chim?
Discussion
They are a straight swop if you have everything off the old car,ie calipers discs and any relevant spacers. If your buying the bits from different origins then you need to be a tad careful and measure up,as there was more than one offset used for the discs. The 500 brakes are definately better, just not massively so,and for me it wouldnt be worth spending too much money on it.
Depending on your budget it would be worth considering some used ap calipers from the breakers/classifieds and some off the shelf one piece discs as the discs are silly cheap from the motorfactors, aiming for 280-300mm discs. There are loads of people on ph who have done bigger brake conversions so i would research in the Chim forum where you'll get more response.
