Greenwich park future meets...
Discussion
Hi peeps..Was going to go to boxhill this morning to meet up with martin..(chapperssx)..(Sorry dude)..but there is lane closures on route and it put a dampener on it so as it was forecast a sunny day i arranged to meet up with chris..(Jack valiant) in greenwich park which is only a few miles from me..We thought that maybe it could be a good meeting place for future meets, There is definitely plenty of parking space albeit £1.30 an hour and getting there reasonably early would ensure that we could park next to each other for photo ops..we could also arrange after a bacon sarnie a run into london with maybe a tunnel or an underpass on route ..Now that the weather is warming up..Today being exceptionally glorious!!..I think there needs to be more localised meets, We certainly attracted some attention..I think also one chap has been sold the idea of owning a wedge rather than a cobra..He will be checking the classifieds on PH..Nice one fella!!..So if people are interested then maybe pop it up on the meets list..Any takers?..Cheers..Ziga

Zig.. your cars looking good, and far less stressed posts and summers nearly here. Well done with sicking with it..
Thanks mate..There are still some things to sort but fingers crossed she is behaving herself..And yes far less stressful..Chris:..Thats a good name for a run into town on a sunday morning.."Wake up the west end"..The more wedges the merrier.
Hi Peeps..Met up with chris this morning in greenwich park again and we were discussing the route into london..Once the weather has warmed up a bit more and there are a few more wedges turning up then it could be a regular once a month meet..We will be doing a test run on the route at some point to see what it will be like on a sunday..Keep you posted..Cheers..Ziga
PS:Chris...Again your wedge sounded awesome..I could hear you before you entered the main gate of the park..Mental..

This used to be reffered to as "cottaging" back in the day !!
You seem to know an awful lot about that kind of thing mate..Im beginning to worry about you..I didnt want to say anything at BBWF last year when you was sharing with you know who..I could hear what sounded like whimpering coming from your room and in the morning you had a bad gut??...Anyway i dont trust anything ending in "ing"..
..On a more serious note, How is your rad coming along?..
Hi mark (or should i call you George Michael).
Work on rad is happening mate, albeit slowly (but want to get it right).
Having made my own custom sopport system for it, the next challenge was getting new hose....and today i struck gold at my local Land Rover service centre.
The rad i bought needs work but have a great guy (viking radiators) working on it, and he is also setting me up a new (modern) housing for the otter switch too.
I have a decent size hole in the manifold which (fingers crossed) can be welded also mate.
Aching to get her out mate, but slowly slowly catchy monkey !!
Stop meeting men at public toilets son.
Gavin

Two boys, two TVR's, and the subtle fragrance of a men's urinal.
So romantic

Hi peeps...Had another meet in the park and was joined by another TVR wedge..Nice fellow by the name of gary..Nice wedge..Shame that the weather was a bit pooey..Rain stopped play, But hey ho theres always next week...We will at some point do a test run of the planned route into the westend, ideally on a sunday..So once the weather warms up it would be nice to see a few more wedges..Cheers..Ziga

as discussed. Any other Wedges (and TIVs) out there and within reach are of course welcome for a chat, tyre kick and bacon sandwich! Weather looks ok too!
