Hi All,

Just a quick post to let you all know what the plan is.

Well its almost done iv put a Alfa 3.0 v6 12v into a mk1 mr2 AW11 The car is now running and driving just the little bit to finsh of

What do yop all think?

Great idea. Woodsport have been doing this sort of thing for a while now, and I always wondered what they must be like. Personally I'd rather have the standard Toyota engine but I hope you have fun with this.

That's going to be awesome, IMO the old 12valver is their best sounding V6 so that'll be awesome to drive..

Okay got abit more time to write somthing.

3.0 v6 12v 70k miles
standard gearbox
Alfa drive shafts re splined to fit mk1 hubs
4 new engine mount all custom made
Splice looms
All working on dash apart from Speedo and rev counter (this will have to be aftermarket)
Custom front part of exhaust and standard mk1 back bot. This may have to change for bigger as it seems to be to restrictive.
New BMW slave cylinder to match displacement of the mk1 master

And lots of work with help from some good friends.

That Alfa v6 is actually pretty Damn solid.
