Anyone know a nice spot to get some car photos. On the drive doesn't bring out the best I'm afraid so somewhere maybe Worcestershire, Warwickshire with a nice background and where you can park up for a while without any hassle. I think I would wait for the leaves to come out and the sunshine to be a bit more predictable.

Can think of a few what sort of back drop are you after?

In Tamworth there an under pass with a graffiti back drop, there are loads on industrial, warehouse sort of areas that are pretty cool. The road up to pooley park has a couple of nice photo spots. One of the top floors of a car park near the bull ring you can get a pretty good back drop of the selfridges building.

Here's a pic of my car when it was photoed in the graffiti underpass for redline magazine

Thanks for that. I never thought of Selfridges as a back drop maybe a Sunday morning would give me an empty car park for an hour or so and I could combine it with a short tunnel run smile

Your car looks great in that subway. As for any particular backdrop I am not really sure I have a specific one in mind either something interesting (Selfridges building) or a natural scene such as woodland.

I noticed we have both been on PH for 61 Months smile and we both have a Mini Cooper S.

Slightly biased but a picture on top of the Lickey Hills has a pretty impressive backdrop. Not got access to show you any at present mind. Even better if you have a rally slag then the scenery looks even better!

Spooky lol. There are loads of good places you just need to think outside the box.

Where is the underpass? I think I fancy a go at that.
Near the SmowDome?

Theres only one entrance on the beacon side:

the other side (Warren Lane) you need a Landrover! Drop me a PM if you get stuck as it comes through to my phone...

Thanks for that but the map link is for Manhattan....

It is the car park off Monument Lane then. I have always gone to the Warren Lane car park which is a bit rough.

Yeah it's under the flyover. You gain access to it from the back of the namco arcade/ bowling place car park. The graffiti will have probably changed now. It changes pretty regulary. Also it's very dingy under there so you need some good lighting. Matt Woods ( http://www.mwoods.co.uk/whatido/what_I_do. ) spent ages trying to get the lighting right. But in my opinion he nailed it
