Is it mad to ........
Discussion
Currently own a 2001 4.5 Cerb. This a very very lovely thing and would be what most would regard as a keeper, possibly it's worth the best part of £19k due to age, history, condition, mileage.......BUT we are in the process of getting planning to build our dream home and to be honest having almost £20 k tied in a car is a big luxury. Kind of think it's probably only going To go up in value
I can't think of anything better than a Cerb for a man with a car fetish and a couple of young car mad kids ( have tried in the past) so should I keep it or sell and buyer a leggier older Cerb ?
Will I regret selling my perfect Cerb?

I sold three tvrs (incl 2 cerbs) and bought again and regretted buying new ones that needed tons spent when I had one previously that had had tons spent in it and was therefore less likely to need immediate wallet bashing etc
By the time you sell yours for circa £20k and tgen buy a cheap one for 12k and then spend 4k fixing it then you have pocketed very little...
Wine with supper may have affected my grammar...

This ^ to get it back to your Perfect car you will end up spending, i seem to buy cheaper TVR's and end up spending as much as i would on well sorted ones in the first place . But this suits me i need something to do in the winter other than Xbox By the time you sell yours for circa £20k and tgen buy a cheap one for 12k and then spend 4k fixing it then you have pocketed very little...

I was out having a drive yesterday in my DB9 with a few other Aston PH'ers , my Chim is currently up for sale, 2 of the guys with me were driving with roofs down on a very nice day, chilly but refreshing, it was then that although I love my new car I miss the Chim for days like yesterday and the open top driving pleasure it provides, the sound and attention it gets. Unfortunately I have personal reasons for having to sell but it is and always will be a regret given the effort that has gone into it and the deep love that I have for it and the TVR marque.
